What This Service Includes
A repipe estimate starts by separating the systems involved. Water-supply repiping and drain, waste and vent replacement are different scopes and must be evaluated independently.
- Whole-house hot- and cold-water line replacement.
- Assessment of repeated leaks, low pressure, aging galvanized pipe and corroded lines.
- Replacement planning tied to a remodel or water-quality concern.
- Routing, shutoffs, fixture connections, pressure testing and inspection preparation.
- Access planning for an occupied home, including where walls or ceilings may need to be opened.
When to Call Sewer Masters
Text Sewer Masters if the plumbing has become unreliable or if a remodel will expose enough piping to make replacement practical. Common reasons to evaluate a repipe include:
- Multiple leaks or repairs in different parts of the home.
- Noticeably low or uneven water pressure that is tied to the piping system.
- Galvanized, corroded or otherwise aging water lines.
- A planned renovation that changes fixtures or provides better access to old piping.
How the Process Works
- Document the current problemsText the address, home age if known, photos of visible piping and a short history of leaks, pressure concerns or prior repairs.
- Evaluate systems separatelyWater distribution is reviewed apart from drains and vents so the recommendation matches the actual problem.
- Plan routes and accessPipe material, fixture count, shutoff locations, wall and ceiling access and occupied-home sequencing are worked into the estimate.
- Replace, connect and testThe contracted piping is installed, fixtures are reconnected, the system is pressure-tested and required inspections are addressed.

What Affects Project Cost
Pricing changes with home layout, number of bathrooms, access, pipe material and the condition of existing plumbing. Wall and ceiling openings, permit requirements, fixture connections and restoration responsibilities also affect the estimate. A written scope should state whether patching, painting or other finish restoration is included or left to another contractor.
Service Area
Whole-house repipe evaluations begin in Blaine and extend to Coon Rapids, Brooklyn Park and Shoreview, with service across the Minneapolis–St. Paul north metro based on project scope and scheduling. Send the address and photos for an initial review.
