Kitchen, Bathroom & Basement Remodel Plumbing

Remodel plumbing has to fit the new design without ignoring the structure and piping already in place. Sewer Masters handles the rough-in and finish plumbing for bathrooms, kitchens and basement additions while coordinating with the people completing the surrounding work.

What This Service Includes

The work can range from replacing fixtures in their existing locations to moving lines for a new layout when slope, venting, framing and access allow it.

  • Bathroom and basement-bathroom rough-in plumbing.
  • Tub and shower drains, shower valves, trim, toilets, faucets and vanity connections.
  • Kitchen sink, faucet, disposal, dishwasher and refrigerator water-line connections.
  • Laundry supply, drain and vent connections.
  • Moving water lines, drains, vents and fixtures when the existing structure supports the change.

When to Call Sewer Masters

Bring Sewer Masters into the project before drywall, cabinetry, tile or finished surfaces lock in the plumbing locations. Early review is especially useful when:

  • A bathroom layout changes or a basement bathroom is being added.
  • A tub is becoming a shower, or a new shower valve and drain are planned.
  • Kitchen cabinets, appliances or the sink move from their current locations.
  • Existing galvanized, corroded or poorly arranged piping is exposed during demolition.

How the Process Works

  1. Share the layout and fixture choicesText the project address, drawings, photos and fixture specifications. Customer-supplied fixtures may require model information before rough-in begins.
  2. Confirm what is feasibleExisting pipe condition, drain slope, venting, framing and access are reviewed before final locations are committed.
  3. Coordinate the rough-inWater, drain and vent work is scheduled before drywall, cabinets, tile and finished surfaces. Inspections are arranged where required.
  4. Return for finish connectionsAfter surrounding finishes are ready, the specified trim and fixtures are connected and tested within the contracted scope.

What Affects Project Cost

Remodel cost depends on fixture locations, access, drain slope, venting, framing and the condition of the existing piping. Opening or restoring walls, ceilings, floors, concrete, cabinets and tile may be handled by other trades unless specifically included. Late fixture changes can require rough-in changes, so specifications should be available before work starts.
